GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) first isolated from plasma in 1973. It is one of the most widely studied peptides in gene-expression research, with microarray studies reporting modulation of a large fraction of the human transcriptome.
