Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29), the shortest fully active fragment of the native hormone. It binds pituitary GHRH receptors and is used to study pulsatile growth-hormone synthesis and release and downstream IGF-1 signaling.
